Up there, somewhere… that’s where you’d imagine Pete Nicholson works his tracks, but in the perceived reality we have chosen it happens to be Pennsylvania. Wherever its origin, this music is set to be a star attraction in ‘The D1 Museum of Incredibly Interesting Specimens‘. 5 tracks of that precious stuff that sails the seas between Techno and House, the perfect union of Space and Earth. Sound like pretentious lofty claims eh? Lofty maybe, but we all like something to look up at, up there… First up, ‘Sadness’ redefines deep techno, sweet yet driving and kinda special. ‘Tiffany’ is nothing less than a monster. Pummelling snares trip around crazy thoughts and build into a behemoth of a track that’s gonna rip whole dance floors out of reality. ‘Techno On My Mind’ starts side two in fine form with a demonstration of AEODs pristine production. Next up ‘Inside My House’ is a mindbending masterwork of dub house spaceshit, exactly the rare substance sought after by house and techno warriors alike, and if all that’s not enough to destroy the universe, you get a superb jumpy house number ‘Only In My Dreams’ to finish the job.
