Yeah I'd like to visit Detroit once as well. Are there any good sites for what the best record stores are?

I think if you check the right flights you can get a flight from europe (I live in Holland) to detroit for about 450 to 600 euros. I went to nyc twice last year and it only cost me about 470 euros for the flight.
I don't need a fancy hotel I just want something that's close to the city center.

I won't be going to Detroit for a while though cause I have trips planned to Boston and Japan in 08/09.
